10.12 Users -- Important

As of 10.12 Apple changed the SNMP libraries. Looks like they are now 64-bit and so they are incompatible with ORCA. It is somewhat difficult to re-compile the snmplib. Here are the instructions on how to get it to compile

Since 10.10 or so dialogs open slowly when ORCA starts. You can speed things up if you open a terminal window and type the following line:

defaults write NSGlobalDomain NSAutomaticWindowAnimationsEnabled -bool false
