Voltage and Max Current settings

The VHQ224L is a two channel high voltage supply in 6U VME format, 164 mm deep, double width. The unit offers manual control and operation via VME bus. This supply provides high precision output voltage together with very low ripple and noise, even under full load. Separate 10%-steps hardware switches put voltage and current limits. An INHIBIT input protects connected sensitive devices. Additionally, the maximal output current per channel is programmable via the interface. The high voltage outputs protected against overload and short circuit. The output polarity can be either negative or positive. The HV-GND is connected to the chassis and the powering GND. For more information, see the manual.

The rate at which to ramp the voltage up or down

Stop ramping the voltage by loading in the last voltage read back

Load all settings to card. This may ramp the voltage to a new value if the set and act voltages differ

Panic the voltage to zero volts

If there is a max current trip it will be indicated in this field

Note:

If the ‘DAQ’ switch on the front panel is NOT set to ‘DAQ’, the device is in manual mode and ORCA can not control it. Therefore, when in ‘Manual’ mode the dialog is deactivated
